As you reach the top, you will be amazed by the 360° views of Manhattan from the angled glass walls at 1100 feet.

Next, at the Interprid Musuem, you can journey through the various historical exhibits in an aircraft carrier standing in the sea.

How to Reach from Edge NYC to Intrepid Museum

The Edge is located on the 100th floor of the 30 Hudson Yards Building in the newest development project of Manhattan, Hudson Yards, near the Hudson River.

Intrepid Museum is located at Pier 86 at 46th Street, along the Hudson River on the west side of Manhattan.

Both attractions are just 2 miles (3.2 kms) away.

Visitors can easily reach from the Edge to Intrepid Musuem by bus, car, taxi or on foot.

By Bus:

Nearby Stop: 10 Av & w 30 St (Edge NYC)  and 12 Av/W 46 St (Intrepid Museum)

Taking a bus is the cheapest, easiest and most convenient way of reaching the Intrepid Musuem from the Edge.

A Bus takes 20 to 25 minutes to cover the distance and costs around $2 to $3.

To take a bus, exit the Edge and walk to any nearby buses stops 10 Av & w 30 St or 12 Av/W 33 St

We recommend taking 10 Av & w 30 St, which is just 0.1 miles away.

From there, you can catch any of the bus M11 to the 10 Av/W 45 St stop, running every 15 minutes.

After getting off at the stop, the museum is 0.4 miles away. You can reach it by walking straight on the 46th street. GET DIRECTIONS

If you plan to go to the other 12 Av/W 33 St stop, you must catch Bus M12 at the 12 Av/W 46 St stop near the museum.

By Car

Time taken: 20 to 25 minutes

1. Exit the Edge and head northeast on 10th Ave toward W 31st St
2. Continue for 1.2 miles before turning left onto W 55th St
3. Turn left onto Hudson River Greenway and continue until you reach the museum on your right.

Kindly note that this road is restricted, and you must find parking options in advance. One such parking garage is Park Right.

You can park there and directly head to the museum.

By Taxi

1. Exit the Edge and turn left onto W 33rd St
2. Take the next right onto NY-9A N/12th Ave
3. Walk for a while and take the next left and then right towards Empire State Trl
